John and Layne were married on Saturday, July 14, 2014 in Layne’s hometown of Rock Hill, South Carolina! It was an incredibly amazing day, from the perfect weather to the worshipful ceremony and after party to the couple’s grand exit at the end of the night in John’s candy apple red Volkswagen Beetle!

John and Layne are long-time friends of Imagine! Studios. They both graduated from Clemson University and they both played in Tiger Band! John played trombone, and Layne played snare drum in the Clemson Drumline (known more affectionately as the C.U.D). John, originally from Aiken, South Carolina and a graduate of South Aiken High School, graduated from Clemson in 2012 and is now a production supervisor for Ryan Homes. Layne, a graduate of Northwestern High School in Rock Hill, also graduated from Clemson in 2012 and set off to pursue a Masters degree in percussion performance from the Ohio State University in Columbus. She completed her Masters in 2014, and in addition to teaching privately, Layne now works with the band program at Pickens High School, helping to improve the skills of young musicians in the upstate!

John and Layne’s beautiful wedding ceremony was held at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Rock Hill. The after party reception took place at the wonderful Magnolia Room at Laurel Creek. The Extraordinaires, an amazingly talented party band out of Hickory, North Carolina provided some smoking hot dance music for the reception. Needless to say, folks were absolutely burning up the dance floor all night long!

We’re so grateful that we were invited to spend this special day with our special friends. It was a day never to be forgotten. Special thanks go out to Jonathan Torres for lending his wonderful talents in assistance behind the camera.

Congratulations, John and Layne! May God bless your lives together in every way!
