Say hello to Amethyst, former Clemson University student and former member of Tiger Band and the CU Tiger Guard! We’ve had the pleasure of photographing her the last 4 years during her integral time with “The Band That Shakes The Southland.” She is a very sweet friend and we think the world of her! We were absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to celebrate her college graduation by capturing some beautiful and awesome images, both in-studio and around the Clemson University campus!

Our session began on campus. It was a very pleasant fall afternoon. Surrounded by a clear blue sky, the sun was shining through the beautiful colors on the trees, weaving wonderful tapestries of reds, oranges, greens, and yellows in the background. The temperatures were in the 60’s with an ever-so-slight breeze. It was a perfect day, and it provided us with nearly limitless opportunities and locations to shoot…not hard to imagine if you’ve ever spent a beautiful fall Saturday in Clemson!

A few days after our campus session, we brought her into the studio. We wanted to show off her tiger stripes and capture some awesome moments with her flags and other Tiger Guard toys. We also wanted to get some great studio shots in her graduation dress as well as her cap and gown. And we just HAD to show off that class ring! She worked so hard to earn it, so it was a definite must! As you will see in the images that follow, she had a great time during both of her sessions, and of course we had a great time working with her! She’s one of the best, and certainly one of our favorites!

Amethyst graduated from Clemson in December with her degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management. She aspires to own her own event planning business someday. She is currently working at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida in conjunction with the Disney College Program. This program (which runs through June 2015) gives college students and recent college graduates opportunities to gain valuable experience in many different aspects of customer service under the umbrella of one of the largest and most successful corporations in the world. Many DCP participants receive opportunities to continue on as corporate employees of the Walt Disney Company. Graduate school may also be in her future, and the Walt Disney Company offers opportunities for education reimbursement to its employees should she be offered a full time position.

Help us congratulate Amethyst by enjoying these fantastic photos from her senior graduation sessions!
